- ?Discuss novel therapies available for the treatment of advanced and hormone-resistant prostate cancer, including mechanism of action, efficacy, and adverse effects.
- ?Properly apply the use of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) along the spectrum of prostate cancer.
- ?Successfully manage bone health and other post-intervention complications, including incontinence, in patients with prostate cancer.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Healthcare professionals who detect, diagnose, manage and treat prostate cancer and related urologic conditions. Medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, urologists, and oncology nurses, involved in caring for patients with prostate cancer are the primary audience for this event. Secondary audiences include primary care physicians, family physicians, nurses and advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, and pharmacists.
